Q. How do I see what my client sees in the listing email?
A. Use the Client Watch icon that appears next to the client's name in their contact info page. You can view listings they look at on a daily basis for up to six months in the past. You can also use the Looking Glass icon located in the same area as described above to open their Looking Glass.
Q. How do I make a HomeQuest Agent website?
A. Log in to your HomeQuest account and go to the preferences tab, then go to the websites link. You will see buttons that allow you to add a new website. Simply click on the "add" button and follow the wizard. If you have exceeded the three websites we provide, additional sites can be purchased for $10 per domain or we can host a domain name you already own.
Q. I already have a website, how do I add the HomeQuest map to my existing website?
A. Log in to your HomeQuest account and go to the preferences tab, then go to the websites link. There is an area called "How to Integrate HomeQuest with Your Existing Web Site". Click on the link "Click here to find out how" link. Information will be provided to add the map to your website. There is a field that allows you to type in your web developer's email address to simply send the document directly to your web developer. HomeQuest support can assist with this as well.
Q. What web browser is compatible with HomeQuest?
A. PC - Internet Explorer 7 is preferred for Windows XP and Vista users. If running Windows 2000, Internet Explorer 6 would be acceptable. Firefox is an option for Windows users as well. The latest IE updates can be obtained by going to the Microsoft update website
Macintosh - Mac users MUST use the latest version of Firefox with Mac 10.3 and below. Mac 10.4 and above can use the latest version of Firefox or Safari 2.0.
Q. How are listings placed on the HomeQuest map?
A. All listings undergo a location validation by HomeQuest that includes checking the geocoding fields that the MLS supplies. If any errors are found, HomeQuest corrects the errors and makes sure the listings appear in the correct location on the HomeQuest map.
